In the Fall of 2015 Hilton Hotels & Resorts opened its completely refurbished hotel at Amsterdam Schiphol airport in The Nederlands. The hotel was renovated to replace the existing hotel and is equipped with all of the modern comforts. The new building was designed by Mecanoo Architects, and has become a real eye catcher with its open square in the middle of the building.
You can find the ILLUNOX® stainless steel handrail with LED lighting outside at the stairs of the main entrance. The handrail with LED lighting provides a safe guiding of the hotel guests at day and at night time to their rooms or meetings.
The handrail is illuminated with the LED strip Power Warm-White 3.000K. The handrail model is 48,3mm in diameter and is slightly bended along with the design of the stairs. The handrail has protection class IP65 and IK10.
For the realisation of this project a close cooperation was established with a subsidiary of the construction firm Ballast Nedam B.V..
