Lighting bicycle shed at two access stairs of the guarded bicycle parking garage. This is equipped with the ILLUNOX® LED handrail system, which is suitable for public spaces. The LED handrail has the qualifications IK10 and IP65.

Beursplein Amsterdam is no longer a messy square with lost bicycles, but a nice place to stay. Under the square is the guarded bicycle parking basement. This bicycle shed is ideal for visitors to the city center and employees in the area to safely store their bicycles.
An ideal solution has been found for the lighting of the stairs of the bicycle shed with the illuminated handrail system from ILLUNOX®. Because for users of the bicycle shed, the lighting is exactly where it is needed, namely on the steps of the stairs.
Type of lighting bicycle shed
At the lazy bicycle stairs, the lighting is tilted by 30 degrees. This allows the most optimal light distribution on the wide staircase to be achieved. On the pedestrian staircase, on the other hand, the ILLUNOX® banister is placed in the standard way. This means that the lighting of the bicycle shed shines perpendicularly downwards. The effect of this is that the beam angle of the LED illuminates the stairs in the full width.
The ILLUNOX® systems are placed on both sides of both stages. A warm white LED lighting was chosen. This fits exactly with the additional lighting of the bicycle shed of Beursplein 5. The picture is thus complete.
