Instruction installation illuminated banister on location
The ILLUNOX® illuminated banister is currently being installed at a number of metro stations in Copenhagen in Denmark. Not only with standard wall mounting, but also with prepared bends and as LED fencing on uprights. Illunox® has organized a special kick-off instruction on location to ensure that the assembly process runs smoothly and smoothly. In this way, the local assembly company can make a flying start. The first two days one of our specialists is present to be able to respond immediately to possible questions. In Copenhagen, the first metro station will soon be completed.
Based on the approved drawings of our engineering department, all parts for this project have been assembled and, where necessary, custom-made. We always ensure that the most optimal variant of the illuminated banister is determined in close consultation with the customer. This depends on the type of application and the local wishes and requirements. In a public application such as a metro station, solid construction and functional lighting are of utmost importance. A handrail that serves as a luminaire then provides precise lighting in the places where it is needed.
The ILLUNOX® illuminated banister is extremely suitable for use in public spaces. See also the examples as applied at Brussels North train station and Tilburg station. Later this year, the renovation of Holland Spoor station in The Hague is planned. Three staircases will be illuminated with LED handrails for safe passage. For visitors to the Holland Spoor railway station, the illuminated banisters will give a safe feeling in the evening and night.
